Bold Fox Development Acquires 200 Acres for Residential Community North of Brookshire

"A local developer has acquired about 200 acres just north of Brookshire in Waller County for a master-planned residential community.

The Woodlands-based Bold Fox Development purchased the land last week from the Phillips family for $5.5 million, said Alex Kamkar, managing shareholder of the company. It is located on Gassner Lane near FM 362, about 4 miles north of the Katy Freeway, and zoned to the Royal Independent School District.

The plan is to break ground on the first of between 650 and 700 lots in the next six months and to select builders and start home construction by the second quarter of 2024.

Homes may have from three to six bedrooms and range in price from $200,000 or $250,000 — depending on material costs — to $400,000, Kamkar said."
