Anticipating further growth into 2023, Bold Fox Development has hired Dane Plumley as its new Senior Project Manager.
A licensed professional engineer in Texas, Plumley has approximately 15 years real estate experience working most recently as a Land Acquisition Manager for the Houston division of K. Hovnanian Homes. His duties have spanned from land acquisition to project engineering to land development.
For Bold Fox, Plumley will oversee “cradle to grave” project management, working with the many entities involved in the process of turning the canvas of raw land into a new master-planned community.
“I’ve been fortunate to work with several large companies that — because of their size — have to operate within certain parameters,” Plumley said. “I’m looking forward to working with a smaller, privately held firm that can be nimble in its responsiveness to market conditions.”
Alex Kamkar, Managing Shareholder for Bold Fox Development, said the timing was right to bring on a project manager.
“We should have two communities actively selling by the end of this year and are looking at the possibility of acquiring more land in the near future,” he said. “Dane brings an incredible amount of experience to this role and will be an attribute to Bold Fox.”
The company announced its most recent acquisition — 215 acres in Brookshire — last spring. Named La Segarra, the community should begin home sales in the first quarter of 2024. Also expected to start sales this year is Attwater, a 470-acre development in Waller. Development of Cherrywood Estates in Tomball is continuing. Bold Fox Development’s first community is Venetian Pines in Conroe, which has homes priced from the $200,000s.
